Pipeline MFL system
MFL-5100
Modular 32-channel system for real-time inspection of corrosion, pitting and wall loss in ferromagnetic pipelines and components.

The MFL-5100 is an advanced magnetic flux leakage system with a high signal-to-noise ratio. It detects indications on the inner and outer surfaces of ferromagnetic pipes, plates and other components. Its modular architecture accepts curved and flat probes for pipelines, tank floors, bars, steel cables and structural profiles. The MFL principle is unaffected by internal media or flow velocity, supporting in-service inspection without shutdown where access conditions permit.
Highlights
- —32 channels with real-time waveform and C-scan display
- —Location of inner- and outer-surface indications
- —Modular probes for curved and flat geometries
- —Pipe diameters from Ø38 mm, depending on probe
- —Stated sensitivity to 20% corrosion pits
- —More than 8 hours of lithium-battery operation
