EPA-101 Phased Array

The EPA-101 is a portable PAUT instrument for advanced ultrasonic inspection of welds, composite materials and industrial components. The platform integrates Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), Full Matrix Capture (FMC), Total Focusing Method (TFM), TOFD and conventional ultrasonics in a single system. Available in 32:64 PR, 32:128 PR and 64:128 PR configurations, it offers up to 8,192 focal laws, data acquisition up to 2 GB/s and TFM imaging using up to 128 elements. Simultaneous PAUT and TFM data capture lets the operator compare different representations of the same inspected region in real time. The system provides A-Scan, B-Scan, C-Scan, D-Scan, S-Scan, TOFD and 3D reconstruction, plus tools to measure indication position, sound path, area and dimensions. Recommended for critical welds, CFRP laminates, honeycomb panels, adhesive bonds, bolts and high-responsibility components. It includes a biaxial encoder interface, full data recording and support for traceable reporting.
