Manual MFL scanner
MFL-4016
16-channel manual system for detecting and measuring corrosion and wall loss in ferromagnetic pipes and tank floor plates.

The MFL-4016 is a compact manual magnetic flux leakage system for corrosion and wall-loss assessment in ferromagnetic pipes and tank floor plates. It reaches tank corners and restricted areas, travels forwards or backwards and can enter openings from 450 mm. Real-time acquisition locates indications and estimates material-loss percentage, while stored data supports PC analysis and reporting.
Highlights
- —16-channel real-time MFL acquisition
- —20% material-loss sensitivity on 6 mm plate
- —Compact scanner for tank corners and openings from Ø450 mm
- —Bidirectional manual scanning up to 0.5 m/s
- —No prior surface preparation required
- —More than 8 hours of battery runtime
