Pulsed eddy current (PEC)
INCOS-C01
Portable PEC detector for wall-thickness screening and corrosion under insulation (CUI) — no insulation removal, no couplant, no surface preparation.

The INCOS-C01 (INCO Tech) is a pulsed eddy current detector for average wall-thickness assessment in carbon steel, stainless steel and non-ferromagnetic alloy pipes, vessels and tanks. It measures through thermal insulation and metal jacketing, over paint, rust or scale, with the component in service from −30 °C to 500 °C. PEC reports the average thickness within the probe footprint: it is a screening technique; confirmation and local sizing of indications require a complementary method (e.g. UT) under the client's qualified procedure.
